September Base Camps

Cottonwood Camp will be the base for our September Base Camps. From here, you will have easy access to many glorious spots: spectacular Horseshoe Basin, Pelton Basin, glorious Cascade Pass and the hard earned but worthwhile trip into Trapper Lake.
From Bridge Creek Camp you have the choices of Goode Ridge, an old fire lookout with stunning views ( 5 miles and about 5000’ elevation gain), or Park Creek Pass, another beautiful spot. We’ll have a relaxed afternoon getting settled into camp.
There is a dandy hike 5miles up to Buckner Meadows with views of grandiose Buckner Mountain and on up to Park Creek Pass. Goode Ridge is a 5 mile, 5000 foot climb to one of the prettiest old look-outs in the Cascades. Flat Creek is an easy 4 mile hike from camp. The North Fork of Bridge Creek is meandering eight miles to a big basin at the base of Mt Logan with its big glacier.

#1 Base Camp
We’ll pick you up off the LADY EXPRESS for the drive up to the end of the road and the start of our hiking (and we will have a sack lunch for you). Four miles will take us into camp at Bridge Creek for the night.
September 3: We will continue 8 miles to hike up the road to Cottonwood Camp.
September 4 and 5: Two layover days at Cottonwood Camp.
September 6: We’ll get an early start out of camp for the hike 9 miles down the road to catch the Lady II downlake.
Per person; $625.00

#2 Autumn Foliage Base Camp
The leaves will be turning gold and red and there will be a nip in the air. This should be an extra gorgeous time in the mountains. We will spend a two nights at Bridge Creek and the remainder at Cottonwood Camp. Please board the Lady Express for the trip to Stehekin. We will meet you, have lunch and then get started up the trail. The trip is smilar to the first base camp but we will have two nights at Bridge Creek.
Hikers: $750.00
